Percussion

Percussion instruments are instruments that are struck, shaken, scraped or rubbed. In this category you will find all acoustic percussion instruments that do not belong to the well-known acoustic drum set. Think of shakers, beatrings, tambourines, cowbells and various types of Latin American and African percussion. You will also find the originally West African and still immensely popular djembe and the Peruvian cajón – a deceptively simple-looking but extremely versatile percussion instrument. We also always have an interesting range of special sound effects and percussion accessories, such as stands, clamps and percussion covers. There are special percussion instruments for children for the very youngest percussionists – after all, learning young is done old. These can take a beating and fit just a little better in small children’s hands than their ‘adult’ version.
